A Day Away in L.A.

Join us for a getaway without having to leave the city!

A Day Away in L.A. is an intimate and accessible 3-hour experience designed to help womxn form friendships around authenticity, self-exploration and personal growth. You’ll experience guided conversation on vulnerability and safe relationships to build friendships and expand your perspective, yoga to connect with your body and ground your energy, and cacao ceremony to clear subconscious blocks and get in touch with your intuition and inner truth. You will leave feeling deeply connected to yourself, to your truth, and to other like-minded womxn.  

The theme of this session is “Create Connection,” and coaching and conversation topics will revolve around vulnerability, communication, and safe female relationships.

As life coaches and healers in their own ways, Mandy + Mimi consistently find that womxn have a hard time forming adult friendships where they can feel fully supported and seen for who they are. This experience was created after Mandy + Mimi hosted a beautiful weekend retreat together and saw a need for womxn to feel more connected-- to themselves and to one another-- in order to support them in their growth. A Day Away in L.A. is meant to be a safe haven-- “a bubble of love”-- for people who are seeking nurturing friendships and personal growth.


This workshop is for the person who is:

  • Into deep talk and real talk, not small talk

  • Seeking relationships where you don’t have to be “put together” in any way

  • Open-minded to exploring new spiritual and personal growth practices

  • Wanting to stop the self-judgment and negative feedback in her head

  • Ready to form a circle of friends that she can count on

  • 18yrs and older

What to expect:

  • Interactive workshop and conversation about vulnerability, communication, and identifying and creating safe relationships.

  • An all-levels vinyasa yoga flow.

  • Cacao ceremony and heart-opening conversation about building trust in female relationships

  • Regular breaks for movement, connection, and journaling.

  • Vegetarian snacks

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat, comfy clothes, a pen, journal, and water.

  • Dress comfortably to do yoga and sit for extended periods, and layer to acommodate fluctuating L.A temperatures. This will be an indoor/outdoor experience.
